What Does Academic Probation/Recovery Standing Means?

If your current academic standing is Academic Probation/Recovery, you are required to meet with your major’s advisor, exploratory advisor, or Student Intervention Services advising professional each semester to register or make changes to your class schedule or register for classes.

Before making your advising appointment, please view the Academic Probation/Recovery video tutorial below, and complete the Academic Probation/Recovery Quiz and Contract.

To schedule an advising appointment with your academic advisor, login to your ‘Get Advising’ portal under Academic Support on your Student Hub or email [email protected] to make an advising appointment with a Student Intervention Services advising professional.

NOTE: If you do not meet the semester GPA requirement of a 2.20 or higher under Academic Probation/Recovery standing and your record shows the three consecutive/most recent semesters attended below a 2.00 overall GPA, your academic standing will be updated to Academic Suspension Standing and you will need to appeal and be approved to continue attending classes.
